Hepato 2025 is scheduled for October 8-10 next year. For a few months now, we have been working to make the conference innovative.
In our most conservative projections, we estimate that our event will bring together a record number of participants, with around 1,500 congress participants, and that it will be a success for those of us involved in this journey!
The conference will take place at the Windsor Convention Center, in Barra da Tijuca, a location that offers all the necessary infrastructure for a top-quality event, with maximum comfort and security.
We would like to thank our board of directors and our scientific committee, who are actively working on the best arrangement for the different activities, as well as the team of experts who will provide the event with unquestionable scientific quality.
Regarding the format of the event, it is extremely important to highlight the innovations proposed by the scientific committee: in an unprecedented solution, we have scheduled 3 immersion courses on very relevant topics in modern Hepatology. These courses will be held in the areas of liver tumor, Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) and acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF). What sets us apart is that these courses will be held exclusively without competition from other congress activities, and we expect unprecedented attendance in terms of quantity for these courses. Each of them will feature renowned international experts and researchers, who will certainly bring unquestionable quality to the discussions and encourage the participation of all congress participants. We have already established a partnership with the Clif Foundation in Europe to send leading researchers in ACLF to participate in our event, and similarly with the AASLD and BCLC for the MASLD and liver tumor courses.
Our Congress is taking place at a great time, when Hepatology is gaining deserved prominence and recognition in the health field. Therefore, we also thought about the need for multidisciplinary action, not only with the participation of leading specialists working in Oncology, Endocrinology, Radiology, Surgery and Internal Medicine, but above all, encouraging young doctors from these specialties to join our event and share their knowledge and difficulties with us.
We will mark a new era in Hepatology by combining the traditional with the new, uniting and exchanging experiences, investing in modern and indispensable solutions such as digital and audiovisual platforms, going beyond the merely scientific aspects to promote and strengthen personal relationships between congress participants, the SBH and our partners.
Today is one of the most important days of the current SBH administration because we are presenting to you, for the first time, a grand, pioneering, exclusive and, I believe, unprecedented project in Hepatology.
From a very personal point of view, I could not organize an event of this importance without considering cultural (non-medical) aspects inherent to the city of Rio de Janeiro. ANVISA - through Resolution RDC No. 96, of December 17, 2008, amended by RDC 23 of May 20, 2009..
CFM - CFM opinion 21/2018, of May 18, which determines ethical and legal provisions.

The supporting documents for the categories below must be sent to the email inscricoes@abev.com.br, at the time of registration.
(1) Physician Member - Aspiring and Full Members up to date with their contributions.
(2) Medical Resident Registrations - Copy of the diploma or declaration of affiliation with the institution of employment.
(3) Academic - copy of the educational institution's ID with expiration date, updated proof of enrollment or declaration, on the institution's letterhead, stating the period being attended;
In the absence of these documents, the difference in the amount for the category NON-MEMBER DOCTOR AND NON-PAYING MEMBER will be charged, referring to the registration fee for the venue, according to the price list.
Notes:
Registrations sent by e-mail will not be accepted - use only the registration system.
Registrations will be accepted in a single category.
The payment receipt will be issued automatically by the Event's registration system and only in the name of the congressperson, and it will not be possible to issue an invoice.
Keep your receipt of payment, as this will be used to confirm your online registration. Confirmation of your registration will be made within 15 days after payment.
If the congress participant cancels their registration, they may request cancellation by email from the pre-registration department and will be reimbursed.
Requests made by July 30, 2025, will be reimbursed 50% of the amount actually paid. After this date, refund requests will not be accepted.
Only the congress participant may request a refund of the registration fee, when entitled.
Refunds will be made directly to the congress participant's bank account.
Registration is non-transferable.
In compliance with the provisions of Law No. 13,709/2018 - General Personal Data Protection Law - only by filling out the agreement field available on the online registration form will it be possible to receive information about future events of the SBH - Brazilian Society of Hepatology.

O sistema estará disponível a partir de 3 de março de 2025 e ficará no ar até 16 de junho de 2025 para a submissão de resumos.
A submissão representa o compromisso dos autores em relação à observação de normas éticas e de sua apresentação de acordo com a programação estabelecida pela Comissão de Temas Livres. O conteúdo do trabalho e veracidade das informações é de inteira responsabilidade dos autores.
Os resumos devem ser enviados, exclusivamente, pelo site do congresso e em área destinada à submissão de temas livres. O conteúdo do resumo e sua avaliação são confidenciais.
Serão aceitos trabalhos finalizados e com resultados obtidos até a data limite de submissão.
Somente serão aceitos textos em português.
Após o encerramento do período de submissão não será permitida a troca ou inclusão de autores/instituições ou adendo ao texto. Caso o autor necessite alterar algum dado, somente serão aceitos pedidos durante o período de submissão. Para realizar o pedido o relator deverá entrar em contato com a Secretaria Executiva do Congresso, portando o ID do trabalho, para solicitar a exclusão do resumo para posteriormente realizar uma nova submissão.
Os certificados dos trabalhos apresentados estarão disponíveis no site do congresso 10 dias após o evento. Será emitido um certificado por resumo, seguindo a ordem de cadastro dos autores.
* A revista ARQUIVOS DE GASTROENTEROLOGIA é órgão oficial de divulgação do Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos e Pesquisas em Gastroenterologia (IBEPEGE), Colégio Brasileiro de Cirurgia Digestiva (CBCD), Sociedade Brasileira de Motilidade Digestiva (SBMD), Federação Brasileira de Gastroenterologia (FBG), Sociedade Brasileira de Hepatologia (SBH) e Sociedade Brasileira de Endoscopia Digestiva (SOBED). A revista é trimestral e compõe o ranking das publicações mais prestigiadas em suas áreas de atuação.
Ficará sob responsabilidade da Comissão de Avaliação decidir a forma de apresentação. Para tal, será considerada a qualidade do mérito científico do resumo submetido. Os trabalhos submetidos como Relatos de Caso somente serão apresentados na forma de pôster eletrônico no website do evento. A forma de apresentação dos demais trabalhos, conforme referido anteriormente, será definido pela Comissão Avaliadora respeitando, dentro do possível, a solicitação feita pelos autores.
Cada trabalho deverá, obrigatoriamente, ter sua área/categoria selecionada no formulário eletrônico, cabendo à Comissão de Temas Livres a reclassificação, se julgar pertinente.
O resumo do trabalho deverá ser inserido em campo específico no formulário do sistema.
O resumo deverá ter no máximo 2800 caracteres.
Em nenhum momento a equipe do Congresso poderá fazer quaisquer alterações nos trabalhos enviados. Desta forma solicitamos total atenção do relator no momento da submissão de seu trabalho, pois alterações não serão realizadas.
Título: utilizar letras maiúsculas e minúsculas;
O título e texto não devem conter informações que identifiquem a instituição ou os autores;
Texto deverá ser inserido no campo do resumo com no máximo 2800 caracteres (incluindo pontuações e espaços);
O resumo deve ser estruturado nas sessões: Introdução, Objetivos, Método, Resultados, Conclusões, com destaque em Negrito;
Obs.: O autor pode especificar sua preferência em relação a forma de apresentação do estudo, no campo específico, bem como se deseja concorrer a um dos Prêmios (Prêmio Figueiredo Mendes; Prêmio Luís Carlos Gayotto e Prêmio Amaury Coutinho).
Será enviada confirmação de recebimento por e-mail para cada trabalho submetido. Caso não receba o e-mail de confirmação, o autor deverá entrar em contato com a organização do evento em no máximo 48 horas.

3.1. Os trabalhos que não obedecerem ao regulamento serão automaticamente excluídos.
3.2 Todos os trabalhos que estiverem de acordo com o regulamento serão julgados por três avaliadores, de maneira anônima em relação aos avaliadores, autores e instituição de afiliação.
3.3 A decisão da Comissão de Temas Livres, de recusa ou aceite de trabalho, bem como a forma de apresentação, é soberana e sobre a qual não cabem recursos.
4.1 A lista final com os trabalhos aprovados, com data, horário, local e forma de apresentação estará disponível no site do congresso 30 dias antes do evento.
O relator também receberá a carta oficial de aceite por meio do endereço eletrônico informado no formulário de submissão.
4.2 O autor de tema livre aceito será responsável pela apresentação do trabalho (Pôster no website do Congresso, Pôster eletrônico no totem ou apresentação oral no Evento), pelo recolhimento de sua taxa de inscrição até 01 de outubro de 2025 e pela elaboração do material necessário à apresentação. Em caso de impossibilidade de apresentar o trabalho, o relator deverá fazer contato com a Secretaria Executiva do Congresso para indicar seu representante.
4.3 A ausência na apresentação do trabalho no período indicado pela Comissão de Temas Livres incorrerá na não emissão do certificado correspondente ao tema livre.
Os temas livres serão apresentados na forma Oral (auditório do evento), Pôster Eletrônico (totem digital durante sessão de pôster) e Galeria Digital (website do evento), no período de 08 a 10 de outubro.
O conteúdo apresentado deverá refletir o texto do resumo enviado. Poderão ser utilizadas na apresentação figuras, quadros e tabelas, entre outros.
Os trabalhos selecionados para apresentação Oral disporão de recursos audiovisuais (sonorização e projeção). Serão apresentados durante as sessões de mesas redondas, nos dias 8, 9 e 10 de outubro de 2025, às 14h30 ou 17h, nos 2 auditórios e nas 2 arenas silenciosas do evento com duração de 15min, sendo 10 min para o autor e 5 minutos para a discussão.
Os trabalhos selecionados para apresentação Pôster Eletrônico estarão disponíveis durante todo o período do evento nos totens digitais de exibição de pôster e a avaliação presencial ocorrerá em data e horário pré-determinados.
Os trabalhos selecionados para apresentação no WEBSITE do Congresso estarão disponíveis durante todo o período do evento.
